Go! Open Enrollment is Here

Employees are the heart and soul of our organization. We want to take exceptional care of you so that we can collectively provide exceptional care for our clients. That’s why it’s important to take advantage of this year’s open enrollment period. It’s an ideal time to learn about changes and determine the best health care choices for you and your loved ones.

Get ready

This year’s open enrollment period is November 14 through December 2, 2022. Selections become active on January 1, 2023. Even if you are not making any changes to your coverage, you must submit a new form to Human Resources (HR) by December 5, 2022.

Get set

There is a lot of information about different plan options and coverage, as well as cost adjustments. Take your time to review materials and ask questions as needed.

One exciting expansion this year is a fertility rider. All of the medical plans now cover fertility-related general counseling, diagnostic services, medical and surgical treatment, and drug therapy . For details about the costs, co-payments, and deductible, refer to the plan information or speak with HR.

Health care providers include Kaiser Permanente for medical care, Ameritas for dental care, and VSP for vision service care. Each provider offers two plans to choose from:

  • Kaiser Permanente offers a core (HMO) option that focuses on less out-of-pocket expenses by using in-network care or a buy-up option (PPO) which has the flexibility of out-of-network providers with higher costs.
  • Ameritas’ base plan covers all dental work up to a maximum of $500 per calendar year while the buy-up (traditional) plan varies coverage based on procedure with a maximum of $1,500 and a $50 deductible per person.
  • VSP provides low or high plans and the main difference is in the copay required for hardware (frames), with the high plans having a lower copay.

Additional benefits consist of life insurance through Unum and pre-tax flexible spending accounts through Navia for health care, day care, and commuting needs.

  • Kline Galland pays $10,000 benefits for basic life and AD&D (accidental death and dismemberment) each; employees may purchase additional, voluntary life and AD&D for themselves, their spouse, or their children.
  • Through Navia, a Health Care Flexible Spending Arrangement (HCFSA) and/or Day Care Flexible Spending Arrangement (DCFSA) can set aside pre-tax dollars to cover medical related or childcare costs. The GoNavia Commuter program allows you to pay for your work-related parking and transit expenses using pretax dollars.
